It reminds me of "Pay it Forward"... If I do something nice for you, don't do something nice back to me, pay it forward and do something nice for someone else.
I was thinking about this and a memory floated to me... I was in Chicago and went to see Lake Michigan (what a lake!)... I was standing in the sand staring out into the vast water before me and a woman came bouncing up the shore line with a bright smile and a beautiful bouquet of bright flowers. I couldn't help but smile as I looked at her and then she came bouncing right up to me.
"Hello," she said, "These flowers were given to me earlier today by a stranger, for no other reason than to brighten my day. And it worked! I've been smiling and glowing since I received them... and then I realized I wanted to brighten someone else's day too! So here... these are for you, for no other reason than to brighten your day." She handed me the flowers and off she went.
It worked! I couldn't stop smiling and I felt myself bouncing back to my car. I couldn't wait to find a stranger and brighten their day... and that's exactly what I did. What a simple way to make the world a brighter place.... Go ahead, try it out! I bet you can't keep yourself from bouncing along too!

That is the coolest idea! I got flowers for a job well done and that made my day too. In fact, that was almost 3 weeks ago and the bouquet (with a little "maintenance") is still really beautiful. Isn't it amazing what a few flowers can do for a mood? Thanks for posting this!
